Iran Exports 25 Tons of Saffron Worth Over $22 Million in Two Months

Tehran (IP) - According to Hossein Zeinali, the executive manager of the national medicinal plants project at Iran's Ministry of Agriculture, over 25 tons of saffron, valued at more than $22 million, were exported from the country in the first two months of this year.

Tehran (IP)-The spokesman of Iran's customs said that in the first seven months of this year (which started on March 20 in the Persian calendar), Iran had exported 121 tons of saffron worth 60 million 174 thousand 587 dollars to 60 countries.
