Muharram mourning ceremonies for the Chief of Martyrs, Aba Abdollah al-Hussein (peace be upon him) were held in the different countries including Pakistan, Lebanon, Britain, Italy as well as Germany on the 8th day of Muharram. The choice made by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his small group of family members and companions (peace be upon them) to sacrifice themselves for sake of Allah, has acted as a source of inspiration for not just Muslims but for all of humanity.203
