Iran Press/ Iran news: During a meeting with Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi, foreign minister of Oman, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi thanked the Sultan of Oman for his official invitation to visit the country and said: "Undoubtedly, these interactions can be effective in strengthening relations between the two countries and resolving regional and international issues."
Noting that the Omani government has excellent and firm positions and is significantly different from the behavior of some countries in the region, the President stated: Oman's attention to Palestine and Yemen and regional issues is significant.
Stressing that the Omani government is concerned about the region's security, the Islamic world, and the oppressed in West Asia, Raisi said: "Our relations with Oman are good, but in economy and trade there is room for further development and significant capacities.
Raisi also invited the Sultan of Oman to visit Tehran, emphasizing: "Our will and policy in the Islamic Republic of Iran is to develop cooperation with friendly countries, especially Oman."
Badr Al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Oman, also thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support to its neighbors and said: "Certainly, your visit to Oman will be a historic one and will achieve the goals of both nations."
