People, including various political, religious and social sector participated in the seminar. Addressing at the seminar, the speakers said that the steadfastness and courage of the people of Gaza is saluted, the Mujahideen of Hamas have destroyed the pride of Israel and they are fighting the Israeli atrocities. The speakers said that we should unite and raise our voices on the situation in Gaza and on Al-Quds Day and everyone should come out to show solidarity with the Palestinians.
Expressing his views with Iran Press, the Secretary General of the Council and senior leader of Jamat E Islami, Liaquat Baloch said, "At present, Gaza is a battleground where the Palestinians are fighting relentlessly. Israel, a cruel and illegitimate state, has imposed death on populations and settlements. For this reason, awareness was raised against the atrocities in Gaza and people took to the streets, whether Muslims or non-Muslims, to protest against the massacre of oppressed people. The United Nations has passed resolutions twice, but Israel has blown everything up and the United States vetoes the Security Council resolution. Due to this cruelty by the Israeli regime, American President Joe Biden himself has become a stranger in his own country. But this aspect is very tragic for Muslims that the people in Islamic countries are awake but the Muslim rulers are suffering from criminal negligence, silence, indifference and fear which is a cause of shame in the whole world. The only solution to Israel's bullying and looting is for the Ummah to take the path of unity."
Addressing the audience the Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Dr Sabir Abu Maryam said that we see what kind of harsh condition the Palestinians are in, but the Palestinians are fighting every oppression and standing steadfastly, while Israel has made the oppression extreme in Gaza.
Talking to Iran Press, famous scholar and leader of Shia Ulma Council Allama Arif Wahidi said, " Al-Quds Day is not an issue of any one country, even in non-Muslim countries, voices are raised against Israel and in support of the Palestinians. At the command of Imam Khomeini (R.A) and the leader Khamenei, the voice is raised all over the world, Israel is afraid of it and every year during these days Israel's attitude changes. But this year, Gaza is calling us, Gaza is under oppression and the ongoing genocide by Israel is increasing, neither the children nor the elderly are safe there, and even journalists and workers of other international organizations, including the United Nations, are not safe there. Israel has become such a beast that it doesn't care about anything. Embassies are protected according to UN and international norms, Israel does not obey them and has said that it does not even obey the International Court of Justice. Israel's attack on the Iranian embassy is a serious violation of international norms, we demand the United Nations and international organizations that strict action should be taken against Israel. On the occasion of Al-Quds Day, protests will be held all over the world, including Pakistan, and voices will be raised against Israeli brutality."
In his speech Mufti Gulzar Nawemi said that the Mujahideen of Hamas defeated Israel, Israel was very proud of its power, all pride was destroyed, and on Al-Quds Day, everyone should come out to express solidarity with the Palestinians.
A famous voice raiser for Gaza and head of Al-Basira women chapter, Huma Murtaza Naqvi told Iran Press, "Palestinians have been suffering persecution for a long time and the Day of Al-Quds is celebrated so that even those who are not interested should pay attention to them that this is the only nation that has been suffering from oppression for a long time.
They are besieged in such a way that they cannot even leave, the neighbors have closed the borders and Israel does not let them go anywhere either. But now, due to the way they are being attacked, the Day of Al-Quds has gained importance. It is the month of Ramadan, yet cruelty and brutality did not end on them. Every blessing is found on the table at our Iftar, but somewhere in Palestine, a father is sitting on the rubble with the dead body of his child, somewhere a mother is looking at the dead bodies of her children and the children are looking for their parents. For this reason, the Al-Quds Day has become significant this time. On the other hand, the criminal silence of the Arab rulers proves that Pharaoh, Nimrod and Shaddad still exist today in the form of these Arab rulers who do not support the oppressed."Addressing the audience, MWM leader Nasir Shirazi said that the Zionists very cleverly occupied the land of Palestine, grabbed their lands and the world recognized this illegal occupation as Israel's right.
Talking to Iran Press, a scholar and political figure Qandeel Zahra said, "We have been watching since childhood that the Islamic world observes Al-Quds Day, we are witnessing the passion of Palestinians for Al-Quds, but after the oppression that has been inflicted on Palestine, our passion for Al-Quds should have doubled. We should have boycotted everything that goes towards America and the enemy of Islam. We should send a message to the whole world in a peaceful manner that the entire Muslim Ummah stands with Palestine, among all the Muslim countries in the world only a few of them raised their voices for Palestine, but we did not show solidarity or passion that was present in this nation. They destroyed their generations for Al-Quds, so our voices must be so loud that the enemy gets afraid of it."
A young lawyer and activist Shaia Naeemi expressed her thoughts with Iran Press and said, " At this time, our Palestinian brothers and sisters are performing the Sunnah of the companions of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), just as they fought the great battle at the place of Badr in the month of Ramadan and won, similarly Palestinians will also have a victory like Badr."The seminar was attended by personalities belonging to different walks of life and pledged that on the occasion of Al-Quds Day, a strong message will be given to the whole world that only Palestinians have the right to the land of Palestine and the ongoing Israeli brutality on Palestine should be stopped at any cost.
