Iran Press/ Iran news: "Iran's official membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) improves its trade relations with member countries," said Mohammad Ali Mohammad Mirzaeian, Deputy Chairman of the Export Commission of the Chamber of Commerce.
"Iran's full membership will also reduce Customs tariffs with member states and promote trade growth," he added.
Iran became the ninth permanent member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on September 17, 2021.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization was established in 2001 with the aim of multilateral security, economic and cultural cooperation.
