Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Yemen's Al-Masirah TV channel, early on Monday morning Saudi-led airstrikes hit a mosque where the family had sought shelter, killing all members of the family.
The tragic incident resulted in five members of a seven-member family being killed with two children being listed as missing. Rescuers are now searching the rubble of the building.
On Friday, the Houthis announced they would stop their drone and missile strikes on Saudi Arabia, had provided the kingdom reciprocated and stopped its attacks on Yemen, warning that the continuation of the war could lead to 'dangerous developments'.
The announcement had followed Saudi-led air raids on Thursday to the north of Yemeni port city of Hodeidah.
The disastrous five-year Saudi led war on Yemen has killed tens of thousands of Yemenis and left millions on the brink of famine. The UN calls the crisis in Yemen as the world's worst humanitarian crisis.
