Tehran (IP)- The President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, has called for the U.S. and the Zionist regime to be tried in international courts on charges of genocide against Palestinians and crimes against humanity.

Iran PressIran news:  Speaking at an international conference on the issue of Palestine, Raisi criticized the failure of the Zionist regime to comply with peace agreements mediated by the United States and resolutions issued by international organizations.

Raisi further stated that America's attempts to normalize relations between the Zionist regime and some Arab countries to downplay its crimes have been unsuccessful. He emphasized that upholding the rights of the Palestinian people is the only solution.

Regarding the recent war in Gaza, Raisi accused the United States and many Western nations of being active participants rather than peace mediators. He condemned America's vetoing of resolutions against Israel in the United Nations, stating that it has blood on its hands.

According to Raisi, those who claim to fight against racial discrimination are perpetuating it through their support for genocide. He argued that the United States is a destabilizing force in the region and world, highlighting the ineffectiveness of international organizations such as the Security Council.

Raisi criticized America's plan for forced migration in Gaza and called for lifting the blockade as well as establishing a special fund for Gaza's reconstruction. He emphasized that Hamas, elected by the people of Gaza, should govern their territory without interference from external decision-makers.
