Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Oil Minister said that politicisation prevent the price of gas and oil from becoming stable in the world.

Javad Owji told Iran Press on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the cabinet session that sanctioning the gas-exporting countries is to oppress those people in need of the very gas and oil.

Referring to Iran's positions in the meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Owji said: "Many gas exporting members of the meeting agreed with this issue and one of the reasons why the world price of oil and gas is not stabilized is the same political debates."

The seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) was held in Algeria, from February 29 to March 2, 2024. 204
