Iran Press/Asia: The Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo described peace and security in Middle East as both important and complicated and said that his country wants to have a contribution in the de-escalation of the regional tension.
Abe asserted that armed conflicts must be avoided in the region and said that Iran is not after making nuclear weapons as Iran's Leader of Islamic Revolution and President have stressed, he told al-Sharq al-Awsat paper in an interview.
The Japanese Prime Minister had an official trip to Iran on June 13, and held talks with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well as President Hassan Rouhani.
He tried to deliver a message from US President Donald Trump to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, yet Ayatollah Khamenei asserted he had no message for the US president and that Iran would never ever do any negotiations with the US. 101/211/215
