Alireza Mohmadi and Saeed Esmaili from Iran managed to ascend the Greco-Roman wrestling finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Iran Press/Europe: The semi-finals of the 67 kg and 87 kg weight categories of the Greco-Roman wrestling were held on Wednesday evening in Paris where Esmaili in 67 kg and Mohmedi in 87 kg overcame their rivals.

Esmaili defeated Slavik Galstyan from Armenia 10-4 and will go to face Parviz Nasibov from Ukraine in the finals.

Still, Alireza Mohmadi could win over Jhon Blink from Ukraine 3-3, due to winning the last point, and ascended to the finals of the weight category to fight for the gold medal. 

Mohmadi should wait to see if either David Losonczi from Hungary or Semen Novikov from Bulgaria will be his rival in the finals.
