Iran Press/ Iran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, September 13, Javad Owji told reporters that out of 52 gas flares in the oil fields in the south of the country, 21 ones were closed to send the gas-emitting from them to be optimized in Bidboland Refinery.
Owj noted: "I dare to say that by collecting these gases, an amount of gas as great as a full phase of South Pars, that is 20 million cubic meters, will be added to the country's gas volume production."
He said that the poisonous but enriched gas would be processed in the Bidboland refinery and then sent to petrochemical companies to be placed in the related value chain.
Raisi administration is determined to collect the very gas from east of the Karoon oil field until the end of its term.
The Iranian oil minister stressed the significance of optimal use of the gas flares by the current administration and noted that the gases are the national capital that has become an added value and the collection of which will decrease the pollution of the environment.
