Iran Press/ Iran News: The 23rd edition of the Abu Rihan Biruni Research Festival was held on Dec. 25, 2022.
Attending the Festival, Alireza Zali stated: "Breaking the stagnation in publishing articles of the first quarter and increasing the number of influential articles is one of the achievements of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences."
He noted that empowering researchers and improving the quality and effectiveness of research is part of the programs of the university and the Ministry of Health.
As the other keynote speaker, the Vice-Chancellor for Research Affairs of Shahid Beheshti University Afshin Zarghi highlighted the aims of Shahid Beheshti University, including identifying communication and logistics technologists, commercializing products resulting from academic research, supporting intellectual property, and facilitating the patent process.
He underlined: For technological products, we are looking for markets, wealth, and employment.
He said that 128 knowledge-based companies had been established in academic growth centers of the university, which have introduced 205 commercialized products to the market thanks to the activity of more than a thousand researchers.
