Iran Press/ Iran News: Answering a question about whether the agreement that is being finalized within the framework of the JCPOA should it be approved in the parliament, the spokesperson of the Guardian Council said: "The Guardian Council legally examines the parliament's approvals, although there have been some approvals in this field so far."

Transfer of convicts between Iran, Belgium shall await CE vote
Guardian Council spokesman said that transfer of convicts between Iran and Belgium should be approved by Expediency Council.
The Guardian Council Spokesman Hadi Tahan Nazif said in his presser on Saturday: "The draft of the treaty on the transfer of convicts between Iran and Belgium says that the Guardian Council has a shari'a objection to agreements similar to this draft, and it is in the record and practice that these cases are usually approved by the Expediency Council."
Tahan Nazif further explained that the members of the Guardian Council had shari'a objections to articles 4, 11, 13 and 14, and we had reflected it in the parliament a couple of weeks ago, and they referred it to Expediency Council, so the draft will be concluded at the same Council.

Hadi Tahan Nazif said that a 2-way new system has been developed and unveiled in Guardian Council to be in contact with people and meet their legal needs.
In order to develop the communications of the Guardian Council and facilitate interactions and strengthen two-way communication between the people and this council in the two areas of responsibility of the Guardian Council, i.e. the legal arena, including the approvals of the parliament, the statutes and inquiries of the Administrative Justice Court, as well as the interpretation of the principles of the Constitution and the field of elections, the communication system of the Guardian Council was unveiled and this council will hear in the questions, opinions, criticisms and suggestions of people in addition to telephone and e-mail from today.
The spokesperson of the Guardian Council added: "Considering that people's reports, questions and suggestions are received in groups from the beginning, this issue accelerates the action and responds to the people on time. In addition, in this system, frequently asked questions along with their answers will be available to the public."
According to the General Department of Public Relations of the Guardian Council, this system serves as the communication bridge between honorable people and respectable election candidates with the Guardian Council so that they can communicate directly and easily to send and respond to public requests and issues.
