Kamuya (IP): Six soldiers were killed in a Boko Haram ambush at Kamuya village in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria, on Saturday.

Iran PressAfrica: According to information gathered by Iran Press, the soldiers of 135 Special Force BN FOB in Buratai were on their way to Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State to buy fuel when they were ambushed along Biu-Buni Yadi road in Borno state and at least six of them have been killed while the wounded ones were taken to hospital for medication.

The killing of the six soldiers came two weeks after 16 soldiers including four senior officers were killed in the Southern country, Delta State while responding to a distress call during fighting between two communities.

As of the time of writing this news, the Headquarters of the Nigerian Army in Abuja has not commented on the recent ambush in Biu Local Government, home to Nigeria's former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Yusuf Tukur Buratai. 219
