They considered the desecration of the holy book of Muslims and Islamic sanctities as an insult to more than two billion Muslims around the world and called upon the Muslims of the world to stand united against such insulting and anti-Islamic actions and to punish the supporters of this insulting action with their strong reactions.
Also, in the gathering in front of the Swedish embassy in London, the speakers considered the embargo of Swedish goods and the expulsion of Swedish ambassadors from Islamic countries as part of their demands to punish the Swedish government.
A number of speakers in the rally condemning the desecration of the Quran in front of the Swedish embassy in London called the insult to the Quran the continuation of the Islamophobic tactics of the West, condemned the silence of the Western governments in insulting Islam and Muslims and considered it the basis for the increase of anti-Islamic behavior in the West.

"Mohammed Hassan Ali Ahmed", a Lebanese citizen residing in Britain, said in an interview with Iran Press correspondent: "We gathered in front of the embassy of this country in London to protest against the burning of the Quran in Sweden. Muslims, Christians, and Jews all believe in one God and the Quran teaches us love and peace.
