According to Yemen's September 26 news site, quoting the telegram channel of Russia's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, added that Moscow called for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council on January 12 (today) regarding the US and British attacks on Yemen.
The United States and the United Kingdom launched attacks against Ansarallah positions in Yemen on Thursday night local time (USA) following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council.
The United States and the United Kingdom announced the attack on more than 12 places in Yemen on Friday morning.
Air strikes hit several cities in Yemen, where the Ansarallah control a swathe of territory, a Yemeni source and witnesses said.
The strikes involved fighter jets and Tomahawk missiles, several US media said. US officials did not immediately confirm the reports. 219
