Abusers of Beirut explosion seeking instability in Lebanon: Zarif

Iran's foreign minister said at a meeting with Lebanon's caretaker prime minister that the abusers of the explosion of the Beirut port are seeking the instability of Lebanon.

Iran Press/Middle East: Meeting with the Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab, the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed the support for the people harmed of the Beirut explosion and expressed the sympathy of the Iranian nation and government with Lebanon's nation and government. 

Zarif announced his country's readiness to help Lebanon reconstruct the destruction left by the incident. 

Hassan Diab for his part appreciated Iran for announcing its readiness to help reconstruct Lebanon, and explained the essential needs, especially in the field of treatment as well as the items necessary for the reconstruction of residential units in Beirut.

The Lebanese caretaker prime minister stressed that Iran's nation and government stand by the Lebanese people suffered harm from Beirut's explosion.

Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Beirut Thursday night to meet with Lebanese officials as well as to express Iran's solidarity and empathy with the Lebanese people and government after Beirut's disastrous blast. He was welcomed by his Lebanese counterpart, Charbel Wehbe.
