Iraq (IP) - Heading a political delegation, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Sunday morning for a meeting with the Iraqi officials.

The Iranian Foreign Minister will meet with the President, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq.

Zarif's will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi and discuss the development of strategic and bilateral relations.

After that, Zarif will meet with Iraqi President Barham Salih to discuss bilateral relations and various issues.

Another program of the visit of the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad is a meeting with "Faiq al-Zidan", the chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council.

Zarif will meet and consult with "Falih Al-Fayyadh", the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

The final program of the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Baghdad will be a meeting with the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohammad Al-Halbousi.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi is scheduled to travel to Riyadh and Tehran on Monday and Tuesday and will travel to Washington for the second round of strategic talks with the United States, according to Iraqi officials.
