Thousands of residents of occupied Palestine have protested in various cities, including Tel Aviv and al-Quds, demanding the resignation of the Israeli prime minister.

Iran Press/Middle East: Israeli demonstrators held placards calling for the resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and protested to his corruption allegations.

Protesters also chanted slogans against the inefficiency of the Zionist regime's cabinet in dealing with the outbreak of the coronavirus and its following economic crisis, condemned Netanyahu's plan to occupy more land in the West Bank.

In recent months, the occupied territories have witnessed protests regarding anti-corruption and Benjamin Netanyahu's policies.

The Zionist regime was supposed to implement a plan to add 30 percent of the West Bank to the occupied territories on Wednesday, July 1, however, with the pressure of the Palestinians and many other countries and the opposition of the Palestinians, the regime was forced to postpone the implementation of the annexation plan.

The plan to annex parts of the West Bank to the Occupied Territories is part of a US anti-Palestinian plan called the "Deal of the Century."
