Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad and the Iraqi Foreign Minister stressed the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in different areas.

Iran Press/Middle East: In their meeting on Thursday, Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad Iraj Masjedi and the Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein emphasized the deepening of the ties between the two countries. 

Since the formation of the new Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi's cabinet, Masjedi has met with the new Prime Minister as well as Defense, transportation, Labor and Social Affairs, Construction, Road and Urban Construction, Finance, Higher Education, Oil, and Foreign Ministers, with the aim of strengthening and expanding bilateral political, economic, cultural, and social ties between Iran and Iraq.
