Israeli troops attacked Palestinian worshipers and beat them at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Eid al-Fitr.

Iran Press/Middle East: Dozens of Israeli occupiers attacked Palestinians outside the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, injuring a number of them.

Despite the brutal attacks of the Zionist military and their widespread deployment around the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinians performed Eid al-Fitr prayers at Al-Ghazaleh Square, near Bab ul-Asbat (Asbat entrance) of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The doors of the Al-Aqsa Mosque have been closed for the past two months due to the coronavirus outbreak, and it is expected to be opened on the day after Eid al-Fitr, according to special measures.

Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important festivities in Islam, is the first day of the lunar month of Shawwal in Arabic calendar. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadhan during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
