Trump should change his policy on Iran: senior Parliamentary official
Special aide to the speaker of Iran's parliament on Monday in Damascus said US President has only one option toward Iran and it is changing behavior with the great Iranian nation.
Iran Press/ Middle East: Hussein Amirabdollahian after meeting with Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh in Damascus in a press conference said: "US President Donald Trump sends contradictory messages to the Islamic Republic of Iran. He with one hand tries to intimidate Iran and on the other hand, tries very much to negotiate and at least have a phone call with an Iranian official."
Special aide and adviser to the speaker of Iran's parliament added: "Trump only has one option and it is changing behavior with the great Iranian nation. Trump's existing policy toward Iran like his successors doomed to failure", Iran Press reported.
Hussein Amirabdollahian expressed his congratulation to government and people of Syria for new victories in the field of fighting against militant groups and new achievement in political development in the country.
"We have a very important discussion with president Bashar al-Assad. I am impressed by president al-Assad notions in defending Syrian people. I am intended to say that it's time to the people of two countries for activating tourism and pilgrimage between two countries and merchants should start bilateral economic trade actively and on a great scale," Amirabdollahian said.
"There is no doubt that potentials existed between two countries and constructive cooperation has a vital role in resisting and eliminating cruel sanctions imposed against two countries, Hussein Amirabdollahian said.
Special advisor to the speaker of Iran's parliament about his negotiation with Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh said: "we discussed the issue of facilitating trades ties and the role of two countries parliament to ease trading and creating a better condition."
Today Syria enters a new era and files of little remained terrorist groups in Idlib had been closed forever. In the new Syria people of the two countries can do great actions, Amirabdollahian said.
"We will provide support for Syria in the field of economic, political, and tourism as like as our support in the war against terrorists," Special advisor to the speaker of Iran's parliament expressed.
