Iran Press/ Iran News: In the Iranian calendar, the '13th of Aban', which falls on November 4, has been named the National Day of Students.
"13th Aban" also had been named the "Day of fighting imperialism" as the country remembers the historical act of Iranian students who took over the US embassy in Tehran on November 4, 1979, and revealed secrets of spying and countless US interventions in Iran.
According to the Iran Press News Agency, Vahid Jalalzadeh, the head of the central headquarters for holding the '13th of Aban' ceremonies which is also the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament, announced the main plans on Monday in a news presser for holding the "13th Aban" ceremonies.
This year a group of students would be received by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
He further addressed the media: "In a complex and combined war, the enemy's cognitive warfare is the primary decider, and hournalists are very important in this field."
Jalalzadeh further stressed that Students should be reminded of the events of November 4th1979( 13th of Aban).
He continued: '13th Aban' is one of the most critical days in the history of the Islamic Revolution and a reminder of important events.
On November 4, 1964, Late Imam Khomeini (RA) was exiled to Türkiye, and on the same day, we expelled American spies from Iran.
He added: "The martyrdom of several students in front of Tehran University was another incident.
"The third occasion that Imam Khomeini (RA) referred to as the second revolution was the capture of the 'espionage dean' of the US by revolutionary students.
He continued: If we look at the history of the past hundred years, we will see that if this embassy had continued functioning, its actions against Iran would have increased.
Jalal Zadeh, the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majles (Iran's Parliament), said: "The center of gravity of 13th Aban was the students and the people.
This year, the commemoration of November 4 will be held on Friday.
Jalalzadeh stated: The enemy has disturbed some of our cities with riot operations. Its most important goal is to destroy and break the Iranian nation's national and internal unity.
He added: Imam Khomeini and the leadership of the Islamic Revolution have repeatedly said that the secret to the victory of the Iranian nation is unity, so wherever we are, especially the media, we should not allow the enemy to win by reaching this goal.
