Iran Press/ Iran Sports: The 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games, the 5th edition of the event, kicked off at Konya, Turkiye, on August 9, with the Iranian athletes winning one gold and two silver medals in ping-pong and two silver medals in para-swimming on the first day of the competitions.
The event was scheduled to be held from 9 to 18 August 2022, under the aegis of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF).
