Iran Press/ Europe: Thousands of people, on Saturday evening, once again came to the streets of the Italian capital to express solidarity with Gazans to condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime there.
Holding Palestinian flags and chanting anti-Israel slogans, the marchers demanded an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. During the march, Italian activist Lorenzo Vanni said: We have participated in the demonstration to protest the complicity of the Italian government with Israel in the genocide of the people of Gaza.
The activist emphasized that Meloni's government has always been a supporter of Netanyahu and military operations against the Palestinians, both before and after October 7th. Therefore, the more than 30,000 victims of Gaza weigh heavily on the conscience of the Italian government.
Lorenzo Vanni also criticized the inaction of the opposition faction of the Italian government regarding the genocide in Gaza and added: It which falsely presents itself as peace-loving, is a supporter of Israel, and like the Italian companies that sell arms to Israel, they are involved in the massacre of people. He stated: Although Meloni's government supports Israel, the Italian nation stands by the Palestinian nation.
The participants in the march chanted the slogan of the liberation of Palestine and condemned the policies of the United States and the European Union in all-out support of the Zionist regime and the killing of the residents of Gaza.An Italian citizen and supporter of Palestine also said in an interview with Iran Press that the killing of people who are in line to receive food aid is a terrible act by the Israeli military.
Concurrent with anti-Israel demonstrations in Rome, other demonstrations were held in other major Italian cities such as Milan, Florence, Pisa, and Naples.
