Abuja (IP): The Council of Ulama of Nigeria, an umbrella that regulates the activities of Muslims scholars in Nigeria has strongly condemned the recent terrorists attacks of Israeli regime on Muslims in Gaza, which left at least 100 people killed while they were performing Fajr prayer in a school.

Iran Press/AfricaThe head of the Council of Ulama of Nigeria, Sheikh Dan'azumi Musa who made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Iran Press also urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to support the Axis of Resistance, headed by the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting Zionist terrorist regime for the liberation of Palestine.

"We, in the Council of Ulama of Nigeria, condemn the barbaric and heartless attack of Israel, attack by terrorist Israel against the people of Palestine in Gaza, which recently killed 100 people. This is very unfortunate," he said.

The senior Nigerian Sunni Muslim cleric added: "We are calling, all heartedly, the community of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to give all necessary supports to this community of the Axis of Resistance, headed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, who are trying to ensure the success and the liberation of Palestine, who are the most oppressed people on earth, especially the people of Gaza."

I also urge the entire Muslims all over the world, not only in Nigeria, to support the people of Palestine and also to support the Axis of Resistance headed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. May Allah give the ultimate success that in the end, the people of Palestine will attain victory, in the name of Allah the most High." 204
