Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, has congratulated Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his appointment as the new Leader of Iran.
In his congratulatory message, the Russian President acknowledged that Iran is currently standing against armed aggression, stating that the new Leader's role will require great courage and sacrifice. "I am confident you will continue your father's path with honor," President Putin said, "and will unite the people of Iran during severe trials."

In an official statement, Hezbollah in Lebanon congratulated the people and leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the appointment of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader.
The resistance movement described the decision as "swift and wise," sending a decisive message to the enemies of Iran and the Islamic Ummah. "The Islamic Republic, with its Leader and nation, fears no threats," the statement read.
Azerbaijan's President Aliyev Congratulates Iran's New Leader
President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan has extended his official congratulations to Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei on being appointed as the new Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In his message, President Aliyev reiterated his condolences over the sudden passing of the Martyred Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. He emphasized that the relations between Baku and Tehran are rooted in the will of their peoples and expressed hope for continued joint efforts to develop interstate relations in a spirit of mutual respect and trust, in accordance with the interests of both nations.
