The Spokesman of the Israel regime says a new phase of war on the Gaza Strip started in which the number of the forces would be decreased in the strip.

Iran Press/ West Asia: According to the New York Times on Monday, Daniel Hagary the new phase of the campaign involved fewer troops and airstrikes.

The decision of the Israel regime came as the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was expected in Israel to press officials there to curtail their campaign in Gaza and to prevent the war from spreading across.

The senior Hezbollah commander reportedly killed in an Israeli attack has been identified as Wissam al-Tawil, also known as “Jawad”, deputy head of a unit in the elite Radwan force.

As the American paper quotes the Israel spokesman, the intensity of operations in northern Gaza has already begun to ebb, as the military shifts toward conducting one-off raids there instead of maintaining wide-scale maneuvers.

According to Israeli sources, the statistics released by the Israeli regime's army suggest that the number of casualties in the war on Gaza has increased to more than 500.

Also, there has been an increase in the Israelis' demands for psychological counseling since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, which reached 100,000 according to Maariv newspaper.

Killing more than 23,000 people, the Israeli ARMY has yet failed to destroy the Hamas resistance group.
