Tehran (IP) - On the occasion of National Journalist Day, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) paid a visit to Iran Press International News Agency.

Iran PressIran news: While visiting various departments, Peyman Jebelli also held talks with the head of Iran Press, Abbas Mohammad-Nejad.

Ahmad Norouzi, head of the IRIB World Service, accompanied Jebelli on this visit.

Peyman Jebelli, a former head of the IRIB World Service, also talked to the Iran Press staff.

Jebelli also visited other departments of IRIB World Service.

August 8 was designated 'National Journalist Day' in Iran after Taliban militants killed Mahmoud Saremi, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) correspondent, along with eight Iranian diplomats, in the northern Afghan city of Mazar Sharif in 1998.
