Two Iranian girls won medals at the finals of the 2024 World Skate Games in the free-style speed slalom category held in Italy.

Iran Press/Europe: Tarane Ahmadi won the gold medal and Romina Salek won the bronze medal on Saturday after each of them managed to overcome their rivals from Chinese Taipei. 

Taraneh won the gold as she was earlier defeated by her rival in the Hangzhou Asian Games. 

Taraneh also reached the finals after in the semi-finals she overcame Romina Sarlak who went to the ranking games and won 3rd place in the games.  

After the girls' completions wrapped up, the men's competition began where the Iranian man skater Amir-Mohammad Savari clinched a gold medal.
