The Iranian athletes participating in the 2024 Asian Rowing Championships U-23 and U-19 snatched a gold medal and a silver medal on Saturday.

Iran Press/Asia: The competitions going on in Shenyang, China, wrapped up today, as the Iranian athletes took part in the sports event with both men's and women's teams.

The event wrapped up as Mohanna Haji-Hosseini defeated her rivals from China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Thailand in the finals of the U-19 single-scull rowing category and snatched the gold medal with a record of 08:13.37.

The rowers from Hong Kong and Vietnam won the silver and bronze medals, respectively. 

Fateme Mojallal, Kimia Zarei, Mohanna Haji-Hosseini, and Saghi Maleki in the women's section and Amir-Reza Abdoli in the men's section took part as the Iranian athletes in the competitions.

Still, Fateme Mojallal and Kimia Zarei ride their boat in the U-23 women's double-scull category, and, setting a record of 07:38.07, they succeeded in overcoming their rivals from North Korea, China, India, Vietnam, and Chinese Taipei in the finals and snatched the silver medal.

The Chinese and Vietnamese athletes stood in first and third places, respectively.
