Belgrade (IP) - The film "Mobadele" (exchange) was selected as the best film in the feature section at the first International Street Films Festival in Belgrade.

Iran Press/Europe: According to the Iran Press news agency from Belgrade, at the closing ceremony of the first International Street Films Festival in Belgrade, the film Mobadele directed by Yaser Ahmadi and Behrouz Bagheri was chosen as the best film in the feature section.
The Cultural Advisor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Serbia received the certificate of appreciation and the festival's statue on behalf of the film directors.

In a speech congratulating the organizers of the festival, Amir Pourpezeshk said: The participation of four Iranian films in this festival shows the interest of Iranian filmmakers to participate in Serbian festivals and strengthen interactions in the field of film.

Pourpezeshk added: Iran's cinema after the Islamic Revolution is known as a progressive, creative, committed, and thoughtful cinema and has achieved many successes. Quality, theme, human perspective, commitment, and honesty are some of the features that have made Iranian films and cinema popular and captivated the audience.

Pourpezeshk further emphasized that cultural consultation, to strengthen cultural and artistic cooperation, considers itself committed to supporting the presence of Iranian films and directors in Serbian festivals and the participation of artists and works of art, especially film and theater, in international festivals. welcomes international events in Iran such as the Fajr International Theater and Film Festival and makes the necessary arrangements in this regard.

At the Belgrade International Street Film Festival, 101 films from around the world were screened in three competitive sections and different genres for four days. The main characters of the films of this festival were in the city streets and roads.

From Iran, there were four films "Mobadele" directed by Yaser Ahmadi and Behrouz Bagheri, "Bazaar Games" directed by Soroush Diyanti, the animation "Sampash" directed by Farnoosh Abedi and the documentary "Ali against Ali" directed by Alireza Rofugaran.204
