Iran Press/ Africa: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam a few hours ago from Bamako, the capital of Mali. Upon his arrival, the Iranian foreign minister was officially welcomed by his Tanzanian counterpart, Liberata Mulamula.
Amir-Abdollahian told reporters at the Dar es Salaam airport that in the meeting with the President of Tanzania, he would announce President Raisi's invitation to his Tanzanian counterpart to visit Iran.
He pointed out that businessmen and owners of industries and government departments of Iran who accompany him on this trip would have an important meeting in Dar es Salaam.
The Iranian foreign minister also mentioned his trip to Zanzibar and noted that he would hold a business meeting and official meetings during his trip to Zanzibar.

The Tanzanian foreign minister, for her part, expressed her satisfaction with the presence of Amir-Abdollahian and his delegation in her country and said that Tanzanians have long been waiting for the presence of Iran's Foreign Minister in Tanzania.
Liberata Mulamula further described the relations between Tanzania and Iran as very good and close and expressed hope that Iran's foreign minister would stay in Tanzania for a few days.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited Mali before Tanzania. In Mali, Amir-Abdollahian, while meeting with his counterpart, also met and held talks with the head of the country's interim government.
