Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday 7 March while praising the doctors, nurses, medical staff of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education for combating the disease and providing services to the public, he said: "Physicians, nurses and hospital staff are at the forefront of the fight against Coronavirus these days."
Iranian President referring to those Medical staff said: "Certainly maintaining their physical and mental health is the most important issue to consider and to address the problems, needs, and strengthening of the health care system, all governmental organizations are required to provide the necessary support."
The president noting the importance of trust and empathy between the people and the government said: "Regarding the fight against Coronavirus, c creating transparency and increasing public trust while keeping people informed about trends, possibilities, policies and planning is crucial; thus the principle of transparency and timely disclosure of information and reports should be laid down."
Rouhani regretting some people are not meeting the recommendations of the National Coronation Headquarters said: "Succeeding on containing coronavirus needs a successful short-term collaboration between people and all executives organizations with the fighting coronavirus National headquarters And in this regard, I urge the public that everyone should be careful and avoid unnecessary travel and travel.
The Iranian president also appreciated the quick equipment of laboratories and establishing new ones and added: according to statistics provided by different provinces, the number of laboratories should be expanded accordingly.
At the meeting, the relevant agencies presented a report on the measures taken and the latest trend of the corona outbreak in the provinces involved, as well as reports identifying the origin of the virus from abroad and how it spread in Qom and Guilan provinces.
The Minister of Health and Medical Education Saeed Namaki also said: "Since the beginning of the identification of cases in February this year, the Coronavirus Diagnostics Department has been set up at the Pasteur Institute, and Iran has been given the opportunity to be diagnosed however this was when the WHO diagnostic kits had not yet been provided to Iran."
At this meeting, the various situation of this outbreak examined, and all public bodies that have access to health care were required to work with the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Also in this regard, the General Staff of the Armed Forces has been tasked with providing medical services in existing hospitals and if necessary to take measures to increase the hospitalization capacity of patients.
