Iran's Nuclear Society in collaboration with Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) began the 31st edition of the National Nuclear Conference to further shore up the synergy of university-industry alliance in the country's nuclear program, while addressing updated issues.

The long-standing conference aims to facilitate the exchange of the latest scientific and technical advancements in nuclear science and technology, while also fostering collaboration among experts and professionals in the field.


The big picture:

More than 1,200 participants, including university colleagues, professors, students, as well as managers and engineers working in the nuclear industry, are present in the conference. The event is underway in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, for three days.

President of Iran Nuclear Society Karmi Sabet: "The conference received over 500 paper submissions, with around 380 accepted. Alongside academic contributions from universities and research institutions, 30 specialized panels showcase the wide scope of nuclear advancements."
