For the first time in Iran's history, a branch of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University opened in Pardis Technology Park aiming t exchanging Knowledge and technology between Iran and Russia.

Why it matters:

Iran and Russia signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership on January 17, 2025. The agreement aims to stregthen various relations between the two countries. Following the agreement, the two countries hold meetings for further relevant arrangements.

 

The big picture:

Pardis Technology Park (PTP), the biggest technology park in west Asia,intensifis high-tech industries development in Iran. It also paves the ground for start up companies, university graduates and entrepreneurs with specific ideas, and lack of financial resources and work experience.
