In a tweet, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs of described the meeting with President of Azerbaijan as constructive, detailed and fruitful.

Iran Press/ Asia: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Baku on Wednesday.

The top Iranian diplomat traveled to the Republic of Azerbaijan to attend a ministerial Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) meeting. Amir-Abdollahian held talks with President Aliyev on the sidelines of the conference.

Amir Abdollahian added in his twitter message: "It is expected that the results of this frank and sincere dialogue will open a new chapter in the relations between the two friendly, brotherly and neighboring countries of Iran and Azerbaijan and disappoint the enemies and ill-wishers.

In April, Amir-Abdollahian and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhoun Bayramov held two rounds of intensive talks to settle problems and correct misunderstandings between the two countries. Both emphasized the importance of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity. 219
