Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a meeting with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), referring to the approval of the ceasefire resolution of the Gaza Strip in the United Nations Security Council after six months of genocide by the Israeli regime, considered this action late but at the same time positive and a political victory for the Palestinian nation as a result of their stability, patience and perseverance and the heroic strength of the Palestinian resistance forces on the battlefield, as well as the support of public opinion and the nations of the world for Palestine.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran considered Haniyeh's visit to Tehran important in the wake of the resistance's field and political victories and on the eve of World Quds Day and said that the commemoration and activities of the World Quds Day this year will be different and more magnificent than previous years.
Amir-Abdollahian stated that despite the unprecedented and countless crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, the Zionist regime did not achieve any of its declared strategic goals, and the United States and its allies, despite their full support of the Zionist regime, could not achieve their goals and they believe today that removing Hamas and resistance from Gaza and the Palestinian scene is an unattainable idea.
Referring to the depth and scale of the Zionist regime's crimes against Gaza and the oppressed Palestinian nation in the last six months, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran said that if the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution were paid attention to by Islamic countries and the economic arteries of the Zionist regime were cut off by the Islamic countries, it would reduce the numbers of the martyrs of Gaza and its destruction would be very low.
The head of the political office of Hamas also appreciated the support of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the nation, and the government of Iran to the Palestinian nation and resistance, and said that despite the continuation of the brutal crimes and genocide of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian nation in the Gaza strip and the West Bank, the resistance and the Palestinian nation are still strong and they stand firm.
Meanwhile, Ismail Haniyeh called for more serious and effective action by the Islamic countries and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation ( OIC) and the formation of an effective international movement to support the Palestinian nation and create a deterrence shield against the Zionist regime's war crimes against the Palestinian nation.
