Iran Press/ America: US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price on Wednesday claimed that the "US believes al Qaeda leader Seif al-Adel is based in Iran."
The official Twitter account of the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in New York in a message said that "This misinformation could potentially hinder efforts to combat terrorism."
The tweet said that the global network of al-Qaeda was dismantled after the death of Osama Bin Laden also its extremist ideology persists.
