Iran ready to export medical equipment to Indonesia: VP

Tehran (IP) - Vice President for Science and Technology said Iran was ready to export medical equipment and medicines to Indonesia.

Iran PressIran news: In a virtual meeting with Indonesia's Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, on Sunday, Sorena Sattari announced the Iranian institutes' readiness to more cooperate with Indonesia.

A delegation led by the Indonesian Deputy Minister of Health, Prof Abdul Kadir also visited the Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology to discuss increasing cooperation.

The trip's main purpose was to sign a contract to export Iran-made Sina surgical robot and establish two centers for advanced remote robotic surgery skills in Bandung and Jogjakarta.

In the meeting, a contract was signed between Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators (the Iranian side) and Indopharma (Indonesian side) companies.

Simultaneously, another contract was signed (online) to export the Sina surgical robot.
