Kabul (IP) - The deputy ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan announced the provision of facilities to Afghan Arbaeen pilgrims.

Iran PressIran news: Hassan Mortazavi, in response to Iran \ress' question about Iran's measures for Afghan Arbaeen pilgrims, said that according to the decision of the Islamic Republic of Iran, special facilities, including free visas, will be provided to Afghan Arbaeen pilgrims (PBUH).

The deputy ambassador of Iran in Afghanistan stated that based on the MOUs reached with the Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan, this ministry cooperates with Iran in the logistics and transportation of Afghan pilgrims.

Mortazavi stated that Iranian embassies in Afghanistan will issue free entry visas to Iraqi soil for Afghan Arbaeen pilgrims for ten days.

It is expected that around 30,000 Afghan pilgrims from Iran participate in the Arbaeen march 2023 in Iraq and reach Bayn al-Haramayn which is Bayn al-Haramayn also transliterated as Bainul Haramain, is the area between the Imam Husayn Shrine and al-Abbas Shrine, which is a distance of 378 meters.
