The secretary of a conference on “Introducing Cultural-Economic Opportunities between Iran and Oman stated that the volume of economic exchanges between Iran and Oman has reached more than 2 billion dollars in 2022.

Iran Press/Iran news: The value of the trade exchanges between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman topped $2 billion in 2022, showing a considerable hike compared to 2010.

The secretary of a conference on “Introducing Cultural-Economic Opportunities between Iran and Oman”, said this, noting that the trade and economic ties between the two countries have considerably increased over the past years as well.

Mohammad Amir-Abdollahian also mentioned that this conference, being the most significant cultural and economic gathering in the nation, will take place with the support of both public and private organizations and institutions.

Amir-Abdollahian highlighted that the primary goal of organizing this conference is to showcase the economic, scientific, and cultural strengths and resources of both countries, facilitate the exchange of information and technical expertise among economic stakeholders, and create opportunities for enhancing trade and economic collaborations between the two nations.

It provides a suitable and unique platform for both domestic and foreign participants, he underlined.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Amir-Abdollahian pointed to the significance of the cultural and economic relations between Iran and Oman. 

This conference will be held with the cooperation of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iran’s Embassy to Oman and the Chamber of Commerce, and with the participation of more than 100 domestic and foreign companies, experts, and economic activists of the two countries. 219
