Iran Press/Iran News: On Wednesday morning during a morning TV program, the Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei talked about the assassination of nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, saying: "The Supreme National Security Council has already reported about this. The Ministry of Intelligence noticed some movements and succeeded in gaining control of the region."
The government spokesman noted: "The Ministry of Intelligence has identified the relevant individuals and all aspects are being investigated. When it is finalized, a reciprocal response will be planned.”
“The important point is that, as the Leader pointed out, our nuclear knowledge was not affected and it could not be undermined. One of our programs is to strengthen knowledge of research defence,’ he added.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and a scientist in the country's nuclear industry, was martyred on Friday (November 27th) in a terrorist attack around Tehran.
