Beirut (IP) - The Iranian minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said that Lebanon has a unique capacity in cultural and artistic aspects and has brought the rich history of Iran and Lebanon closer.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Iran Press, "Mohammad Mahdi Ismaili", the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, who had a visit to Lebanon to inaugurate the Iranian Cultural Week there, left Beirut for Tehran on Thursday morning and was officially escorted by " Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada ", the Lebanese Minister of Culture.

Opening of Iranian Cultural Week in Lebanon, meeting with Lebanese cultural activists, attending the shrine of the Martyrs of the Resistance and meeting with some families of the Resistance, meeting with "Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah" Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah Movement, meeting with the Lebanese senior officials, including the president, prime minister, parliament speaker, minister of culture were among Ismaili's plans in his visit to Lebanon.

On the first day of his visit to Lebanon, Ismaili attended the Beirut Martyrs' Shrine, which is the burial place of the martyrs Imad and Jihad Mughniyah, Imad al-Din Nasrullah, son of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and many martyrs of the resistance. While reciting al-Fatihah, offering flowers, he paid tribute to these martyrs and met with a number of mothers of the martyrs.

The Iranian minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance also answered reporters' questions at a press conference, explaining the purpose of his visit to and presence in Lebanon.
