Yerevan (IP) - The first round of political consultations among the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Iran, India and Armenia was held in Yerevan.

Iran PressAsia: In this meeting, Mnatsakan Safaryan, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Seyyed Rasoul Mousavi, an assistant to Iran's foreign minister, and Director-General of the Middle East at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Jitender Pal Singh, were in charge of the delegations.

During the event, the parties discussed issues related to economic and regional communication routes and the prospects of deepening cultural relations and tripartite cooperation in various fields.

The North-South Corridor and how to connect Armenia to India through Iran's roads and rail lines was the main focus of the first tripartite political consultation among the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the Islamic Republic of Iran and India, held on Thursday in Yerevan.
