Iran Press/ Iran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, in this message on Tuesday, while expressing condolences to late Taskhiri's family, survivors and all his colleagues and friends highlighted: "The record of this indefatigable man in all kinds of outstanding achievement in the international Islamic community is really brilliant."
Ayatollah Khamenei, while asking for Allah's mercy and forgiveness and divine approval for late Taskhiri reminded: "His determination and motivation overcame even physical disabilities in recent years and his effective and blessed presence had been useful everywhere."
Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, the Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and Senior Advisor to the Leader of the Revolution on Islamic World Affairs, who was hospitalized in a Tehran hospital due to a heart attack, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 76.
He was one of the well-known scientific and cultural figures of the Islamic world who always tried to introduce Shiism truly and served as the source of mutual understanding and empathy among Muslims and rendered valuable services to Islam and Shiism in this field.
Dozens of books and hundreds of articles have been written or translated by this Muslim thinker.
