Fight against Israel continues until liberation of al-Quds: speaker

Tehran (IP) - Iran's parliament (Majlis) speaker said the fight against the Israeli regime will not stop until the liberation of al-Quds, the capital of Palestine.

Iran PressIran News: In his speech on Sunday, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf noted that the UAE’s agreement with Israel is a clear betrayal to human values, Islamic teachings, and the Palestinian cause.

UAE, US, and Israel announced in a joint statement that bilateral ties will overtly be maintained between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.

The agreement has been widely criticized in the Muslim world. The Palestinian people in the West Bank set fire to the UAE flag as a sign of hatred for the normalization of ties with the Zionist regime.

Today, defending Palestine and fighting the Zionist regime is a clear criterion for distinguishing the world's justice seekers from hypocrites and criminals, Ghalibaf stated.

He stressed that those who plan to have friendly ties with the Israeli regime are considered as betrayers, criminals, and accomplice of the regime.

The Iranian parliament speaker warned those states who intend to join the project of normalizing ties with Israel, stressing that the fight against the Zionist regime will never stop.

Iran's Parliament commemorated the anniversary of the return of Prisoners of War (POWs) who were captured in the 8-year-war on Iran imposed by the Iraqi Baathist regime of Saddam, mainly supported by the US and Israeli regimes.
