Tehran (IP) - Managing-Director of Petropars company said that this company participated in the accomplishment of the phases 1,4,5,6,7,8,12 and 19 of the South Pars joint oilfield with the investment of $23 billion.

Iran PressMiddle East: On the sidelines of the ceremony for signing contracts between National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Petropars Company, Managing-Director of Petropars Company Hamid-Reza Masoudi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press explained the role of Petropars in the gas and oil industry of the country.

He said that due to the company's brilliant background and performance, NIOC fully trusts Petropars, and important development contracts of joint oilfields are signed with this company.

In today's contract, 35 wells will be dug, 50 pumps inside the wells will be installed, 328 km pipelines will be built, Masoudi added.

Two Iranian oil companies of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Petropars signed two contacts in a ceremony on Monday.

The first contract which aims at developing south Azadegan oilfield will produce 320,000  barrels of crude oil and 200 million cubic feet of gas per day in 30 months with a total value of 961 million dollars and 1183 billion tomans.
