Iran's Health Ministry confirmed 2,379 new coronavirus infections on Friday, bringing the country's official number of cases to 269,404.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a daily press conference, the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said that coronavirus has taken the lives of 183 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 13,791.

"1,852 of the new patients were hospitalized," she added.

"The official stated: "3,509 patients are in intensive care units."

"So far, around 2,098,985 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.

According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Khuzestan, East Azerbaijan, Kerman, Khorasan Razavi, Ilam, Bushehr, Zanjan, Golestan, Mazandaran, and Fars Provinces are in the red alarm condition.

The provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, Tehran, Hormozgan, and Kurdestan Provinces the partial reduction of infection, hospitalization, and death are being witnessed. 101
