Iran macro economy policies to be reformed

Iranian Minister of Finance and Economic affairs reported the revision of the macro policymaking commensurate with resistive economy requirements.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a meeting held at the Expediency Council on Wednesday, Farhad Dejpsand presented a report on the policies, approaches, and plans of the Ministry of Financial and Economic Affairs in order to achieve the goals of the general policies of the resistive economy.

Dejpsand mentioned the establishment of the electronic treasury, productivity and management of government assets, development of the capital market, comprehensive tax plan, and reform of the customs system among the programs.

The Secretary of Expediency Council Mohsen Rezai also stressed structural reforms of the Ministry in line with the goals of the general policies of the resistive economy and added that the results of the measures taken are far from the expectations from the resistive economy, which will be examined through appropriate analysis.
